Curriculum Vitae (CV)

While most resumes are competency-based, a curriculum vitae (CV) is a lengthier, more extensive document that includes more information. It incorporates skills and qualifications that usually involve research and publications. It also tends to have internships, teaching experience, degrees, awards, grants, fellowships, professional associations, and licenses.

Federal Resume

Federal resumes can be extensive ranging from 2-5 pages depending on your level of experience. The qualifications listed on your resume should fulfill the needs expressed within the government announcement. It is essential to be as specific as possible with all experience and qualifications. Human resource professionals contracted with the federal government usually refrain from making assumptions.
